EPISODE 6
I woke up this morning
feeling so great! Best
night ever! i smiled as i
crawled out of bed,
went straight to the kitchen.
Today’s aroma was totally
different (as
mama’s only boy i could tell
from the aroma,
the food was prepared by
her lol).
Definitely kourtney should
be the one cooking
i thought exhaling deeply. I
took a quick walk
down to the kitchen, where
i saw mum
standing and kourtney
seemed to be so busy
running up and down as
mum watched like
she was being supervised.
ME: Goodmorning pretty

dad)
MUM: smiling…… Dee! Your
awake, hope you
slept well.
KOURTNEY: Mum can you
plss tell this kid of
yours that am over here, she
said interupting
our chat.
MUM: i think He heard you,
she said still
smiling
ME: If its a goodmorning
you’re waiting to
hear, trust me you’d never
get one kourt lol. In
a
quick reflex she threw a
spoon at me but hey i
was faster, i dodged!
MUM: Dee go get dress you’ll
be spending
your day with me
ME: Alright mum…. I really
loved hanging out
with my mum, speaking of
love, i actually love
my dad but i could do just
anything for my
mum. I went straight up, did
a few cleaning in
less than a hour i was
through with my
preparation. I hummed abit
sitting on my bed,
when thoughts about my
school invaded,
especially our prom night, i
have lots of
preparation to do.
Just then i heard mum’s
voice, desire come
down for breakfast.
After eating in silence, mum
picked up a few
things before we hit the
road, its been long
time since i went on
vacation i thought to my
self.
MUM: Dee aint you curious,
why i asked you
to come with me?
ME: Nodding negatively
MUM: Smiling, well we got a
contract
lastweek to decorate the
HEART GARDENS for
a bachelors eve.
Dee i just want you to figure
out certain things
for yourself, only this time i
hope you’d see
things differently. Trust me
theres alot to
learn.
ME: I wonder what she
meant though, with
confusion written all over
my face, i just had
to smiled

Actually have never been
here but have heard
people say its called heart
garden too,
because when viewed from
the top it has a
love shape. Wooow look at
those, i
was so shocked to see
flowers that looked like
a dinner table and a chair.
From afar you would
mistake it for a heap of
flower grass, well i got so
curious, i quickly
turned to an elderly lady
probably in 50’s.
ME: how did you guys do
that?
(actually i was so
overwhelmed i totally forgot
my manners)
LADY: She just smiled. Am
sure you like it
ME: like??? This is the best
have ever seen
LADY: Well it takes a whole
day to make 1 of
this and its really
complicated, so you dont go
around touching ok?? We
have only a few
pro’s
ME: i’d be good ma’am i said
with a smile.
But my mum said by the end
today am
suposed to figure out some
things for myself,
how is that even possible?
LADY: Smiling, are you a lazy
kid?
ME: hell no uhmm i thought
for a while, atleast
not all the time
LADY: Well kid all my years as
a flower
decorator the only thing i
hold so strong.

Me: with a face like what the
hell is she
saying, hmmm your a
decorator ma’am not a
tree
LADY: As decorator there are
many
design, choosing might be
really tasking, after
making your pick on which
to go with. you
might want to change it half
way or some
passerby would tell you this
is
not the best bla bla…bla.
When you make your
decison, you stand by it, and
then you take
responsibility for whatever
comes with it.
ME: i was busy humming like
this makes
some sense before i could
proccess the next
question she was gone,
hmmm am sure she
pretty busy i thought.
